My question is if ethanol is bad for your vehicle; which people on both sides of the issue have admitted to, and it apparently saves no oil why are we using it?
People are having problems with their fuel systems because of ethanol drying out seals and other rubber pieces including hoses. The article also talks about how ethanol has to be transported in trucks which cannot run on ethaol because it will corode the seals in pipelines. If it cannot be carried through pipelines then how do they expect us to think it is safe in our vehicles which are not made from the same grade of materials as the pipelines?
